Marc is active in many musical fields as a conductor, clarinettist, writer and publisher. A music graduate of the University of York, Marc studied clarinet with Peter Howes (at Trinity College of Music) and with Lesley Schatzberger.

In 2001, Marc was appointed Music Director of the Fulham Symphony Orchestra, and has forged a strong relationship with this talented and ambitious group of young musicians. Together they have explored familiar and unfamiliar repertoire and worked in cooperation with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

Marc conducts a number of London orchestras in addition to Fulham, and is a regular conductor of contemporary music and new works commissioned and performed by the London music colleges.
